It may look like Devil's Tower from the movie "Close Encounters of the Third kind" but this is a massive boulder of solid rock, the 3rd monolyth (single pieced) in size in all the world.
The "peñon" attracts many tourists and the town at it's foot is very picturesque.

Bernal es una excelente opcion de fin de semana, el pueblito es muy pintoresco y la peña no se diga, es impresionante, tambien puedes hacer rapell y escalada, felicidades por el post muy completo aca te dejo otra pagina util
